A question corresponds to an outbound message; that is, whenever you want the chatbot to send a message to obtain some kind of data or user response, this interaction is defined as a question.

In SmartChat we have various types of questions to help you get your contact information:

 

Depending on the answer you expect to get, you must choose a type of question that allows your chatbot to understand and make sense of the answer.
Here are some examples to better understand the relationship between a question and its type:
